History of APOP
Foundation
APOP was founded by a group of visionary ophthalmologists committed to improving children's eye care in Pakistan.
First Annual Conference
Organized the first national conference on pediatric ophthalmology, bringing together specialists from across the country.
ROP Initiative
Launched the nationwide Retinopathy of Prematurity screening and treatment program in collaboration with major hospitals.
Fellowship Program
Established the APOP Fellowship Training Program to develop the next generation of pediatric ophthalmologists.
500+ Members
Reached a milestone of over 500 member specialists, with presence in more than 50 cities across Pakistan.
25th Anniversary
Celebrating 25 years of service to children's eye health in Pakistan with renewed commitment to our mission.
